- How do I become a member of SCC? An audition with the Artistic or Assistant Director is required. No preparation is necessary. To schedule an audition, call Mr. and Mrs. Riegle toll-free at 1-866-662-1151.
- What are the fees to be a member? Tuition is $230 per member per year. Sibling members pay $120 per year. In addition, first-year members pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of $30.00. There is a $15.00 uniform fee for both boys and girls.
- When does the choir rehearse? The SCC Season begins in September and concludes in May. Apprentice Choir rehearses Monday evenings at Bethel Church in Crown Point from 5:30-6:30 p.m., the Concert Choir also rehearses on Monday evenings at Bethel Church from 6:30-7:45 p.m., and Lyric Choir rehearses Monday evenings at Bethel Church in Crown Point from 7:45-8:15 p.m. Treble Choir rehearses at Liberty Bible Church in Valparaiso on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
- What other time commitments are involved? In order to be in good standing with SCC, members must attend rehearsals regularly and perform at all performances.
- When are auditions held? Auditions are held by appointment from May through August.
- When will I find out if I have been accepted? You will be notified by mail within a week of your audition. If you have been accepted, you will receive further instructions and paperwork with your acceptance letter.
